HE. Santomera City Council convenes this contest, according to the following
BASES:
1. The competition is open all professional cartoonists or not, in any country.
2. A maximum of two works per participant, which have not necessarily been submitted to another contest.
3. The theme: " intercultural tolerance."
4. The works must be original, any painting technique. Digital work is permitted provided they are signed by the author and with the indication that the impression is number 1.
5. Have a maximum size of 30 x 42 cms., Unframed, including its eventual "passe partout".
6. The prizes are:
1 º. Prize: 900 €
2 º. Prize: € 600
Two. Accesit. € 150
7. The deadline for receipt of works should be on March 17, 2008 at 14 hours. After the deadline will not be allowed any work. 8. The works will be presented, stating the name of the author, as well as other personal information such as address, phone photography, e-mail and a brief curriculum.

10. The jury, which is final, will be announced on March 27, 2008. Prizes may be withheld according to the jury. 11. The selected works will be exhibited from 1 al 30 April 2008 in Casagrande, in Santomera.
12. The winning works will become property of the City of Santomera. The authors of them agree to donate at the same exploitation rights in the work as a form of reproduction, public communication and distribution.
13. The award winning pieces will be returned to their authors, provided that the shipment is stated explicitly, but are excluded from jobs that do not conform to the rules.
14. The fact of competition implies full acceptance of these rules.

2. Each dog cartoonist submit 2 originals, Being That essential the original works have not been submitted to a previous competition.
3. TOPIC: “ Tolerance to other cultures ”.
4. The works must be original, any painting technique being accepted. Top quality prints of works achieved by digital tools will be considered originals as long as the author sings them, and with the indication that it is Print nº 1.
5. The format of the works will be maximum 30x42 cms without frame.
6. PRIZES:
8. Each of the works for submission must carry an identification label, clearly filled in, including name of cartoonist, as well as address, phone number, photograph, e-mail and a brief curriculum.
9. All works must be sent to this address:
11. The selected works will be exhibited from 1st to 30 April 2008 in Casagrande, in Santomera.
12. The prizewinning works will not be returned to their authors. They will become property of the Council of Santomera. The awarding of a prize to a specific word will automatically imply the waiving of its author's royalties to the organisation.
13. The works not awarded as winners will be returned to their authors, provided theat this has clearly been by the authors in the identification label.
14. It must be made clear that accepting all these regulations is the essential requirement to take part in the competition.
